Just Saw A Rly Good British Movie: ‘The Veteran’ — Trailer

*Spoilers*

The trailer really doesn’t explain the movie too well because it makes it seem like it’s just a movie about the streets and fighting a gang. While that is an aspect of the film, it is more so based around fighting home grown terrorists and doing intelligence gathering and suppression of said terror cells. But they sorta made the two story lines connect in the end. Great movie — I could have watched another hour, I didn’t want it to end.

If I was a lot more geeky and a little more motivated, I’d make a video like this.

And just as an aside, Google Plus has been the best thing to happen to Chris Pirillo in ages. I’ve been aware of him, but awareness and giving a rat’s ass are two separate things. That is until pretty much he rules the roost over at G+… (a lot of social “engagement” to his posts, if you will). I still get greater engagement on Twitter, but let’s remember I’m more chic than geek. ;) And Twitter chic is the way to go.

Hey now!

Oh and as far as Mac OSX LION, I have it installed as well, and it’s OKAY. I had to make some major tweaks to get my system running half way decent (speed wise). Admittedly, I’m running an older Mac Mini. So I can see where Apple was going with LION… you install it on your older Mac, and you immediately yearn for a faster computer. Hence there being a brand new Mac Mini and a new Macbook Air available this past week. And you wonder why Apple’s revenue is through the ass roof!

Either way, I overall do recommend Lion. It’s going to be even better when they start releasing point releases and fine-tune it.
