Two men have been arrested in the killing of a University of Maryland student.

Prince George’s County police on Thursday announced the arrests of 22-year-old Stephan Weaver of Bowie and 23-year-old Deandre Ricardo Williams of Washington. They’re charged with first-degree murder in the January slaying of 22-year-old Justin Vance Desha-Overcash. He was found shot to death at a home just off campus. His death was part of a spike in homicides in the county at the start of the year.

Police say the motive appears to be robbery.
