Howard said there was this IBM thing in the news yesterday. He said they have this amazing thing. Howard said Robin has to get a hold of this thing. He said they invented a computer, years ago, that was able to beat Gary Kasparov in a game of chess. Howard said he read this article about a guy who invented a computer that plays Jeopardy. Howard said this is a big deal because the computer understands puns and jokes. Howard said it’s AI that’s taken to a new level. Robin said this is how Terminator started. Howard said that everyone is going to say that. He said that this thing is cool and he thinks that we’ll see that you can have an interaction with your computer with a voice. Howard said you’ll be able to talk to the computer and it will understand regular speech.

Howard said that this thing can get answers wrong. He said they call it Watson. Howard said that he went online and played for a few minutes. He said he thinks that Robin could beat him but they should go on and check it out.

Howard told Robin about this video he watched where they showed how they came up with the technology and all of that. He said it was very interesting to him. He said that the thing isn’t perfect and you can win playing against it. Howard said he fed it 7 black and white cookies hoping it would fall asleep but it didn’t work.

Robin read a story about Snoop Dogg doing a song for True Blood called ”Oh Sookie.” She had some audio of Snoop’s song. Howard said that was very original. Robin said this isn’t the first time Snoop has professed his love for the show.

Howard said he needs a gig like that hugging thing or writing songs about Sookie. He said he has fans like Mariann from Brooklyn who would testify that they were healed by his hug.

Howard said there was some douche bag senator who came out and said he didn’t like how Obama was dressing down the BP people and it was a shake down. Howard said Obama did something great. He said he asked them to put $20 billion in a fund so we’d be assured that they’d have money for the clean up. This senator got up and started saying he felt bad for BP. Howard said the guy is the head of one of those subcommittees and he’s probably getting money from BP. Howard played the audio of the guy, Senator Barton, talking about that. Howard laughed about that and said this guy is out of his mind. The guy had to issue an apology for the speech he made so Howard played that as well. Robin read more about KoRn and what they have to say about this BP thing.
