I am sure Little Lupe is already in town (NYC), as I imagine Evan Seinfeld runs a tight ship. However, shabooty.com has exclusively received word from one of Dave’s colleagues at his Sybian co., that Dave’s flight from Chicago was just cancelled!

I take it Gary Dell’Abate is scrambling to figure out arrangements to get Dave to NYC before tomorrow’s 6 AM Howard Stern Show, the last show before a two week vacation. This show was destined to be history, esp. after the first “get the poison out” masterpiece, but maybe destiny didn’t want it to happen at all. Dave is an old guy, so I imagine traveling is hard for him. You heard it here first! Don’t be shocked if you don’t see Dave Lampert on tomorrow’s (formerly epic Howard Stern Show!)

If you have the NEW bootrom 3GS’ you have to wait for other jailbreak tools to be released. I have the old, so I am good. I’ll probably update this weekend when I have a whole day to spend on it.

PwnageTool 4.0 Release Info

On Monday, Apple released firmware 4.0 for the iPhone and iPod touch devices.  This of course was a major upgrade.

As advised, you shouldn’t have upgraded your devices if you have previously relied on our tools for hacktivation and/or a carrier unlock.

With that said, today we are releasing PwnageTool 4.0

PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE POST CAREFULLY, THERE ARE KNOWN UPGRADE TRAPS AND DIFFERENT UPGRADE SCENARIOS THAT NEED TO BE FULLY UNDERSTOOD AND CONSIDERED BEFORE USING THESE TOOLS.

Each supported device has few different scenarios that users need to consider when performing the upgrades, you need to check below and perform the upgrade in the particular way that matches your current device state.

NB: With PwnageTool 4.0 certain devices are not supported this is because they are not supported in iOS 4.0 or they are not supported by our software.  We’re working on ways to get past these restrictions.

• iPhone 2G  - not supported
• iPod Touch – not supported
• iPod Touch 3G – not supported

PwnageTool 4.0 only recognizes the official IPSWs that came out yesterday. If you had developer access to the “4.0 GM” IPSWs, do not try to use those.

iPhone 3GS

Summary: Currently, PwnageTool only works on previously jailbroken 3GS devices with the old bootrom.

• If you have a Jailbroken iPhone 3GS with the OLD BOOTROM and you DID NOT use Spirit to jailbreak then you can create the ipsw with PwnageTool 4.0 and restore with your jailbroken recovery mode.
• If you have an iPhone 3GS with the NEW BOOTROM this is NOT supported by PwnageTool 4.0

Howard said Lisa did nothing wrong. The caller said that made him mad too. He apologized to Lisa for what he was saying earlier.

Howard said he had to take a break but they have Cyndi Lauper coming in soon to perform with Jonny Lang. Howard said he wanted to play this Rachel Maddow clip too though. He said she talks about BP having another oil spill. He said that it was a little dry but it was good. Howard played the clip where they were playing a clip from 1979 where the reporter was talking about an oil leak in the gulf. Then Rachel Maddow came on and talked about how they tried to stop the spill. It was very similar to the ways they were doing it in 2010. Rachel said that it sounds like the same news from today. Rachel said the drilling was being done by the same company that owned this drilling rig that failed this year.

Howard said it’s a great piece and it’s unbelievable how it’s the same situation all over again. He said he should just let the other 3 minutes play. Robin said they

Gary told Howard to play more of the clip because it was very interesting. Howard played it and Rachel went on to talk about how the reason for the failure and how it was very similar to what happened this year. They never figured out how to fix it in 1979 and they were allowed to keep drilling after that. Howard said it was a really good report. Howard said Rachel is on MSNBC. He said she wears giant blue glasses and they look odd. He said she’s very good though and she seems very intelligent. Howard said he had to go to break after that. He spent a minute talking about how he works out with Cyndi Lauper’s husband but the guy never tells him anything about Cyndi when he asks. They went to break a short time later.

Now a days, I think the only adversity he’s having is trying to get all of the stank off his hanglow, and he probably just used ANOTHER chick’s saliva for that.

Rapper Drake has his day of reckoning as the music industry speculates his sales numbers.

The Canadian artist’s Thank Me Later has sold 462,989 units, according to industry staple Hits Daily Double.

The Billboard chart will reflect the sales figure tomorrow, making the album the highest debut of the year.
