After the media firestorm of Wale refusing to perform at a booked gig for teh gays (LGBT), he has changed his tone. I guess he hated the bad press even more so than potential gay rumors.

I love how he says, “I didn’t even know bout a show..I have done 48 shows this year..and I haven’t booked one personally.” (I think he later deleted this tweet). Anyways, homeboy is either not in control of his own career and does whatever his bum-handlers tell him to, or he’s homophobic or a homo. Either way he’s lolz in the same way you would laugh at Carrot Top if his box of props went up in flames.

In an apparent bitchfit, M.I.A. posts NYTimes journalist Lynn Hirschberg’s phone number on Twitter! (UPDATE)

Apparently the NYTimes writer, Lynn Hirschberg wrote a piece on MIA the other day in NYTimes Magazine that MIA wasn’t so happy about. I guess she got ETHERED? Sort of like how Vanessa Grigoriadis did to Artie Lange in Rolling Stone magazine in the piece titled “America’s Biggest Loser”?

This tweet is how MIA fought back.

A couple things come to mind: UK red dots (Indians) are crazy!

I knew MIA’s former tour manager and he apparently tweeted her the other day that she never paid him his full $ dues. Dang.

And last but not least, The Village Voice posted this update from Lynn: “The messages have mostly been from people trying to hook up with M.I.A.”
