I hate feeding into the rumors, but I can’t NOT post this!!! Esp. with as many details as it holds!

My personal gut is that this is not true. My assumption is still that Artie is okay, (at least physically).

We’ll find out Monday. Publicity stunt or real attempt at his own life!!!

UPDATE: My sources are quoted as saying IT’S THE REAL DEAL… “it’s not a publicity stunt, it’s the real deal. He needs help.“

Update 2: [FROM AN INSIDE SOURCE]: “Something is afoot [at the Howard100/Howard101 SiriusXM channels]…[effective immediately until tomorrow morning, live broadcasts at], the channels are shut down, until an [official] announcement can be made. The [Sunday night] Miserable Men Show’s [phone lines] would have [been flooded with fans calling in about] Artie! [Due to the circumstances] the Miserable Men show was a repeat tonight, when it was [scheduled] to be a live show.”

Update 3: [This is a tip sent in by a reader. Treat it like gossip]: “This is what’s called a “Building Black Out.” Tim told them not to do Miserable Men tonight, because he doesn’t have faith in the ability of Paul and Shuli to only pick regular callers, due to the mass amounts of calls regarding Artie. As a result, they were contacted this afternoon and told “No show today.” As a result of this being leaked on MSNBC, CNN, AP Press, etc…, Howard Stern will have an EVEN MORE MASSIVE audience tomorrow…..If Miserable Men made a statement tonight some of the audience wouldn’t stay up for Howard tomorrow, and listen to the West Coast Feed. Howard is “posturing” right now for financial negotiations with Sirius. His show will be listened to by virtually everyone in the “Stern World” tomorrow. They’ll have 3 Levels of screeners (including possibly Gary), and Howard takes about 5 calls per day. Howard can get the biggest ratings of the year tomorrow, so Miserable Men got “blacked out” tonight to make the competition look even smaller by comparison. It pisses me off, because the MisMen got FUCKED by this. Howard better be fuckin’ good tomorrow. I hope something memorable happens, no matter what it is.”
