Hell no. This gives me the douche-chills. I am trying to picture the pitch meeting with Hollywood executives. You get Jackie Chan, the urban audiences love him, you get Will Smith’s kid, of course fat chicks are gonna love him, give him corn rows to add to the cliche factor, get him some pseudo Taylor Lautner-esque Karate training, have him go to China, so he’s like a fish out of water, so it’s like the reverse Karate kid, targeting black audiences, throw in some Linkin Park on the trailer music, so white people are comfortable enough going to it as well, and boom! Where do I sign?
