This song irks the eff out of me because here’s basically what happened. It was engineered masterfully by the shitty music industry.

They took Imogen Heap’s song (Hide and Seek) which a) has been out forever (2005) b) is a musical group that lesbians love… and so c) they repackaged it, threw in an up and coming artist J Derulo and give it to the urban audience. Just seems so manufactured and wack to me. But, again, I ain’t a black lesbian.

And of COURSE the urban version went from the unique song title of Hide & Seek to the retarded upfront one of “WHATCHA SAY?” …

See what happens when you go to college? You pick up on this kind of shit.
