My exclusive post the other day, regarding Michael Lohan’s (fake) suicidal tweets was picked up in the media. Gawker, OkMagazine, and even the New York Daily News:

NEW YORK DAILY NEWS: Michael Lohan denies writing suicidal Twitter messages

The posts were copied and saved by entertainment blog AllieisWired.com and spread like wildfire throughout the blogosphere last night, prompting many to worry Lindsay Lohan’s father had taken his own life.

But the very-much-alive Lohan denies “tweeting” anything.

“This is not not not me,” Lohan told gossip blog Shabooty.com in an e-mail. “I do not have and never had a Twitter and Twitter’s corporate office confirms that. My lawyers are investigating.”

I really wasn’t trying to get shine as I was genuinely concerned for Michael Lohan. Lol, I sound like Michael talking about Lindsay. No, really though. I had interviewed Michael back in February and we’re cool like that. But, this whole time, with all of the media coverage, and those Lindsay tapes and everything, I never once hit him up to try to latch on – out of respect. But, this was potentially serious, so I had to ping Michael and see that he was okay. I don’t subscribe to the media’s bad wrap about him.
