Intro of Magnolia

Magnolia is one of my favorite movies ever, by one of my favorite writer/directors ever, Paul Thomas Anderson. This is the introductory scene, if you will.

I remember I was dating a chick around the time this came out [on DVD]. And she hadn’t seen the movie. I pleaded for her to wait to watch it with me.

I told her that something really insane happens in the ending. Like it will knock your socks off and is visually stunning, to say the least.

Now you see, that was where I went wrong. I wet the pallet of an impatient brat. Of course she went on youtube and looked up the FINAL scene, before I got to watch the movie with her.

What is my point? Fuck her if I know. Roffle. But here’s the INTRO, folks.
