I will move away (from mt) in a month or so. Had to go through 2 attacks on all websites i got (about 10 on completely different versions and setups) which couldn’t have been my fault. Next thing: Permanent downtimes for db. Another thing: File upload like walking backwards up a hill… on your hands. Support: Thanks for the word “generic”. Btw: I found your post searching for “fuck mediatemple”. Thanks!

Tell me about it… I got to your page googling for “mediatemple sucks”. BECAUSE SURELY THEY KNOW HOW TO BRING A WEBSITE UP AGAIN AFTER 2 DAYS? I’m getting really pissed and I can’t do anything.

What you were trying to do is not difficult at MT. I’ve done it many times. How many WP migrations had you done previously?

That said, the grid is terrible, and media Temple will fail you badly with it. I have held as many as 3 accounts on the grid since 2008, and I had an (ss) account before that from 2003 or ’04. The grid has proved a colossal failure.

Search for “media temple latency” or something else along those lines.

The grid was on triple secret probation with me this year. I had a few good months after getting moved to cluster 6 and using an SQL container, which is expensive and should not be needed for my purposes. Then latency and downtime returned.

that image where is says MT complete crap. that I wrote SUCKS ASS over, I didn’t even create. It was easily found in google images by another person that feels similarly to myself.
