Author Max Barry Lands “Machine Man” Movie Deal With Mandalay Pictures

Max Barry and I are pen-pals. No really. We go way back to my college days, around ‘02, when I emailed him, that my professor made one of his great books a required read. I printed out the letter and since I was shy like Howard Stern, I waited until the end of class to show my teacher that I had been corresponding with the author, Max Barry. He was like, “damn, ‘booty, you shoulda shown that shit at the beginning to the whole class!!!” My bad. Either way, I am expecting a part as an extra in this movie. Thanks. Look for me pulling a Chris Palko [in Transformers 2].

Oh, p.s. I’ve even talked to Max on the phone once. No homo.
