Let me just say, Wale must have boyfriends (ALLEGEDLY), because when I posted a review for his new album, his bfs came out of the woodwork at the defense of their man. I thought I was angry. Those dudes were just as angry, and since when was 3/5 a hater review? Lolz. Anyways, Bol posted by way of Sandy Rose, that Wale apparently worked his way through the industry via ARs and I don’t mean artists repertoire, I mean “A RIMJOB.” Roffle. Jokes.

Here’s the quote:

I’m told that Wale was able to navigate the industry maze so deftly because of his gay connections within the industry. “How do you think he was able to get top shelf artists such as Rihanna and Lady Gaga on his first album?,” one exec asked me over a plate of fried squid and crab cakes at dinner Sunday night.

The exec recounted tales of down low music industry A&R and a casting couch environment within the industry for rappers who are expected to turn tricks to get put on. The exec dropped names like Jim Jones and Jay Z, etc. He said that Wale sounding like Metrosexual rapper Kanye West is no accident.

Oh and for the record, I actually, uhhh, yeah:

I went to high school with the dude. He always rocked a headband and his non-car having ass always asked my homie to drop him off at the ghetto ass sneakers and diapers mall a couple counties away. Prolly more downlow guys there in suspect PG county…
