Here is my podcast interview with Steve Grillo of Howard Stern Show fame!
Former Stern Show intern and associate producer at WXRK (K-Rock). Known as Grillo, Steve was famously in charge of preparing Howard’s daily baked potato. Howard dedicated his second book Miss America to Steve. Grillo was often ridiculed by Stern staff for his pronunciation and writing of the English language. After the Stern show, he pursued acting and worked as a bartender, and even appeared on The Sopranos. Grillo also conducted movie reviews for Howard 100 News in 2006. As an homage to his former duties as an Stern show intern, he would rate the films by awarding them a certain number of potatoes. Grillo, on occasion will ask random “man on the street” questions for the Stern show. This task was misrepresented in Page 6 New York Post column as Grillo would replace Stuttering John’s old occupation. He is now happily married to his wife Maureen. (Source: Wikipedia)
