Feeling the Hate in Tel Aviv – Part 2.

Max Blumenthal and Jesse Rosenfeld interview young Tel Aviv residents about Iran, Obama and right-wing laws limiting the speech rights of their Palestinian-Israeli neighbors. The shocking responses reflect the deepening of racist and authoritarian trends in Israeli society. This is the sequel to “Feeling the Hate in Jerusalem,” the video banned by YouTube, Vimeo and the Huffington Post after topping 400,000 hits.

See this one is less funny than part one. So I dunno if that means it’s more of a political statement for me posting it, but just ask yourself how a political statement and shabooty in the same sentence sounds. :)

Cage did an email interview with 944.com. Here are the highlights:

944: With most music, people can generally find a way to relate. Do you find yourself getting approached by your fans a lot in regard to how your music has impacted them? How do you feel about that?

C: Yes, now more than ever. I don’t mind it. I think its better than kids coming up with drugs and expecting me to instantly partake like some down-and-out junkie.

944: Speaking of social sites, you plug some purple ‘drank’ online, is that a new sponsor?

C: Nope. I found drinking things publicly I like gets you free shit.

944: There are 14 tracks on the album. Did you find yourself pulling a few songs together to meet the release date or did you have a surplus and some didn’t make it on the album?

C: I pulled some shit from the records. It’s interesting – some might call a favorite a filler, and to someone else, the big singles might be filler. What do I know about selling a record?
