Star Trek Props Are Retail Staples Store Barcode Scanners

Slashfilm points out that some of the “joysticks” on the desk at the front of the bridge in Star Trek are actual Symbol m2004-I215 barcode scanners, the same model used in various retail stories, including Staples.
I am sorry, but that is ghetto fabulous! Funny stuff. I wonder if the monster from Cloverfield 2 can already be found at staples, as well. Roffle. GJ JJ.
