Cubbiebear – Still Can’t Fly EP

For all of you not in the know… Cubbiebear is this cat from Baltimore, MD. Back in the day, he opened for Cage, that’s how I first saw him perform. He dropped his debut LP, The Rape recently. You can find it on iTunes, and after the break is a video for the song “Contra”, from the album (released 10-17-08).

Aside from all of that, Cubbiebear has been nice enough to drop his EP titled: Still Can’t Fly for free on his website. And call me crazy, but I am feeling the tracks on the EP as much as, if not more than the LP. Check out tracks 02, 03, and 05 off the EP. They don’t get skipped when they come on my iPhone. Trust. And in Cubbiebear’s defense, I have only had a chance to listen through The Rape once, so I know it will grow on me, Still Can’t Fly style… which I’ve been bumping since April. Oh, and on the EP, there’s a song called Punch Pretty Women For Fun – for gosh sakes.
