Happy New Year, BiTCH3S

I just would like to wish everyone of you assholes out there a Happy New Year …cause ’08 was an Unhappy Old Year. Keyword: Old. Tracy Morgan on David Letterman 12-26-08
[youtube:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=voqIvq61gGM]
David Letterman, Tracy Morgan, 12/26/08
This is an ‘okay’ interview… a little awkward. If you want to see a good Tracy Morgan interview, just peep any of his Howard Stern Show interviews on Sirius, where Tracy can talk freely about buttholes and toes. And special sauce. In fact, here goes. . .

Byron Crawford Walks Away With Hip-Hop Blog World Cup 2008 Award

I was gonna say, fck whatcha heard, but I agree with the winner being Byroncrawford.com. Bol’s blog is a rare daily read for me (not that I rarely read it daily, but that, for me to read any blog on the daily, it’s a rare thing, and this is the case with BC.com). Also, I think we mutually like each other['s blogs - no homo], so as a narcissist, that gives him bonus points, as well. Plus he’s a fellow Howard Stern fan. Need I saw more? Well, he does:
One of the most important duties of a public intellectual is to receive awards.
You’ll recall that a few weeks ago, I was crowned the best hip-hop blogger evar by the magazine Hip Hop Connection. It’s one of the first major awards I’ve received since being crowned, in a poll, the leading black public intellectual. But I couldn’t post the article here, because it wasn’t available on the Internets, and all I had were some scans of it sent to me by Akuma.
Well finally, the full text of the 2008 Hip-Hop Blog World Cup article has been posted on the Internets, over at Fat Lace Magazine. Finally, Melissa Perfect Calmness can bask in one of my life’s great achievements. That is, if she hasn’t already bought a copy in print, framed it, and put it up on the wall over her bed.

Nike Zoom Kobe 4 IV Ad ft. DJ AM, Mike Epps, and Kobe Bryant
[youtube:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CzFVpGtUZa8]
Nike Zoom Kobe 4 IV ID Commercial
I am looking at this ad and the only thing that is running through my mind is whether or not the ad contains a pre-burnt DJ AM or a post-burnt DJ AM. I guess they could have easily shot around the scars, and besides, nike isn’t that visionary to have a DJ in their ad, before they turned A-list after cheating death. Here was DJ AM’s career trajectory. He was a fat guy. Got his stomach stapled, turned into a skinny DJ, became popular, banged Nicole Ritchie, hooked up with Travis Barker, got in a plane crash and survived, toured with Jay-Z, filed lawsuit over plane crash. and is now in the latest Kobe viral ad… not bad, eh? Told you jews run the business of show.

Shabooty Interview Series: Model Jillian Ann
Jillian Ann: Electronica / Alternative / Ambient / HOT. I was lucky enough to interview one of my favorite models and musicians, Jillian Ann. You may have seen her in FHM, L’Oreal, Salon, Chanel or heard her on itunes, but now you can read about her here. And leave it up to Moby to get Jillian in his music video – he doesn’t have hair, but he has taste.
$
Shabooty: Who are your favorite photographers to work with?
Jillian Ann: I like so many that’s so hard to say, but I love Sequoia Emmanuel [above photo], Justin Hyte, Joshua Rubin, Billy Sheahan, Zoe Wiseman, to name a few, there are so many though…
What print work or modeling work in general are you the most proud of?
I really enjoy edgy editorial work, or edgy look book work, very artistic work, gallery work, beautiful work that is surreal and strange.
What is your favorite kind of music?
Anything that moves me.
When’s your record coming out?
My Solo Record should be out in the Fall. My Collaboration with Resurrector from Heavyweight Dub Champion should be out in the Fall, as well. And I hope to release two instrumental albums one is an album focused on pianos and strings and is very deep called “Everything Else” and another called “Punk Meditations” which is ambient with a bit of a bite.
Where did you grow up?
In the middle of nowhere also known as Paulding County, I was born in Saint Elmo, TN and grew up in Paulding County. Then at 17 ran away to Atlanta, then to NYC.
Tell us in detail your diet and workout regimen?
I am a raw food vegan, I eat all organic local if possible – mostly protein, sauerkraut, seaweed, greens, fresh juices, berries, super foods and some fruits (apples berries). I take herbs from Amazon Herbs, Dragon Herbs, Digestive and metabolic Enzymes, minerals, pro biotics (Prana). I drink lots and lots of water that has been filtered by a system we have at our house that alkalizes the water as well as purifies it. I also drink tea, mate, green tea, herb teas, I take lots of herbs, eat lots of ginger, garlic, olive oil, coconut oil, flax oil, seeds, some nuts, and raw chocolate which I make myself or buy from Ulimana. I became a raw food vegan because it makes your skin look amazing, gives most people tons of energy, and it makes me feel amazing, and I can eat all I want and I don’t gain weight and I feel great and my skin looks great.
When I was younger I ate the standard American diet (pizza, etc.) and my skin was horrible, and I had a massive problem keeping thin and was depressed all the time, I figured something was wrong and set out to figure out how to fix it, I spent years researching and experimenting and am still learning lots.
The most important change I made was eating real food, and organic and local whenever possible, drinking the best water I could get a hold of (glass bottles not plastic), using all eco-friendly 100 percent natural cleaners in my home, using air filters, using 100 percent natural skin beauty and body products (like Burts Bees or Dr Bronner’s ). Basically, I went through my entire home and life and tried to get rid of anything toxic, inside my home, the products I use, and the food I eat, I try to keep it all as close to nature as possible. Since I have made those changes, my skin has become flawless, I am rarely sick, and my doctor always says I am one of the healthiest people he has seen.
As far as working out I walk, run, practice yoga, dance and am looking to expand.
Are you more strict on your eating or your working out habits?
I eat to feel good. I love how food makes me feel and can heal me. I am not strict with either, with all the traveling and touring I do I do the best I can, wherever I am.
So do you EVER eat fast food?
No, I always carry seeds and vitamineral green with me, so I never have to eat fast food.
Are you bisexual?
Yes.
You’re part Irish – and what else?
Irish, British, Welsh, Austrian, Jewish, German, Swedish, French, and related to the royal family the Hapsburgs.

Sonic Unleashed: Racialist?

When something is all racialist – as Ali G would say, it will come up on your radar for one of two reasons, one) you’re offended by such blatant racism or two) you’re a racist and you get turned on by such sentiment. This second point brings me to my friend, we’ll call him Chicken Jon. Here’s the email he sent my friends and I the other day – which I am sure he tapped out with glee:
So I was playing the new Sonic the Hedgehog game for xbox 360: Sonic Unleashed
, and the levels are divided up by ‘continents’ that they modeled after the real word. One of them is obviously somewhere in the middle east, and it’s called ‘Shamar’. You get to interact with the local folks. I came across a man, Labib, who was angry at his son, Shadi, for wanting to be a singer than a rug maker. Then I was given the choice of telling the son to go with the father’s advice or to follow his dreams of becoming a singer than a rug maker. The game gave me bonus points for tellin Shadi to become a singer.
Now the only reason Chicken Jon would go on about this and even take screenshots, is because he becomes turned on by politically incorrectness. He’s a racialist. And so are the Japs at SEGA (the former is called irony).

After the break, this racist, stereotype perpetuating dialogue continues!

File this under random and call me whacked out, but this legacy trash bag jingle… it’s just catchy and forever in my head. What can I say?

Album Of The Year Per Metacritic: Fleet Foxes

Depending on how you want to spin things, the best reviewed album of the year is Welcome To Mali by Amadou & Mariam (92/100), but the album appearing on the most end of the year top 10 lists is Fleet Foxes (6 #1s). [Via Metacritic]. For me, the latter means more, so congrats to Fleet Foxes. Here’s a video:
