American Stories, American Solutions: 30 Minute Special
Barack Obama’s half-hour commercial/mini-documentary aired on Wednesday evening. Watch the full video above.
Shit…for an infomercial this was quite the compelling video. I have ADD and it kept my attention. Peep it.
Oh, some interesting “fob” commenters on youtube:
I’m not allowed to vote for Barack Obama – but I want to tell how moving this is for me. I’m from? Berlin, Germany. I heard his speech here. For the first time, my view on the US is changing dramatically. Now I’m reading 3 books about american history, I begin to understand you and your beautiful country. I wish you the best. God bless America!
ye$ we can!
Did watching the 2nd and 3rd debates give you a feeling of déjà vu? This montage of synced-up footage from all three presidential debates confirms our deep-seated belief that every debate was exactly the same.
This is magnificent!

The Mighty Underdogs, comprised of Lateef the Truth Speaker (Latyrx), The Gift of Gab (Blackalicious) and producer Headnodic, are proud to release their first video on Definitive Jux.
This is my joint of the day. From out of …what I like to call DefJuxWest, which have been releases like Del The Funkee Homosapien, and Dizzee Rascal. The non-’ome grown ishhh, but it’s still hot.
Do you sometimes find yourself wishing that there was a place you could go to just watch music videos? Back in the 80s, MTV served that purpose. These days, MTV and its sibling MTV2 are hardly channels anyone would watch in order to get a music video fix. MTV is looking to redeem itself in the music video department, however, by launching a new site Tuesday called MTV Music that opens up the company’s massive video archive and puts it on the web for free…read more.

It is more than fair to say that the best reality show currently on TV is VH1′s Celebrity Rehab 2. Episode one of the sophomore season aired last Thursday (10pm), and it was a doozey. By doozey I mean Gary Busey is MOC (Mad-outta-control), and the rest of the folks were a mess. On top of that you can only but feel guilty if you drink a beer while watching this show. You’re so conscious of your substance abuse, even if it’s a few beers.
I have a friend in the promo department at Vh1 (big fish, small pond), and she was telling me how she cut the promos for season 1′s Celeb Rehab, and then go out to the bar right afterwords and then feel guilt ridden for drinking. Hehhh.
Props to Dr. Drew. This is ‘appointment television,’ folks. P.s. Jeff Conaway is back.
