Check Out GrabUp, One Of My Fav Mac Utils

I’ve been using Grabup for a few months now and needless to say, it’s a util that has made my blogging life a tonzo easier. Yes, it’s a mac [only] util. The best way to explain it is that it’s a 1-click screen capturing + uploading utility. Activated with a hotkey & one mouse click, you select the area of your screen you want to capture, it takes the screenshot, uploads it, then automatically places the url to the newly uploaded image into your clipboard, so it’s waiting and ready for you to paste with Ctrl+V. Nice, eh? Here’s a video that shows it in action:
It’s great for just casually sharing screengrabs with friends, but if you want to use it for blogging, I recommend getting the pro version, as the grabup.com hosted files aren’t perm.
With the pro version you can hook it into your site’s ftp and therefore host the screen grabs on your own site, and it even lets you do watermarks. Saves a shit load of time!
McLovin would so say …CHYEAHHH to this application.
Here’s my latest grabup pic @ the Redskins game this past Saturday:

I made a nice upload script for the pro version. You can see it here: http://simplerain.com/view/751e0083f0b2cad443012db8b915053d.png
Also made a directory view of all screenshots uploaded:
