Apple iPhone 2.0.1 Software Released!

Apple has finally posted firmware v2.0.1 for the iPhone (1st gen and 3G). What’s new in this version is only listed as ‘bug fixes’, however it’s safe to say these were major bugs. I myself have experienced ‘hanging’, slow syncing, and other crashing issues. This update is set to resolve those issues.

I will say after the update my phone is zippier, and the syncing takes less time. To get the update simply plug in your iPhone, start up iTunes and hit the “Check for Update” button.

Thanks - VersionTracker.
