Richard Christy’s Favorite Bands

I asked Richard Christy (writer on the Howard Stern Show) the other day for a list of his favorite bands. Here they are:

-Coheed and Cambria

-Amon Amarth

-Death

-Nevermore

-Malevolent Creation

I told Richard that yeah, I love Coheed, too. I saw this guy at a party a couple of months ago, and he had a dragonfly tattoo on his arm, and this other guy sees it and goes, “hey what’s your tattoo?” and the first guy says, “it’s a dragonfly – you know for the band, Coheed and Cambria” (I got the reference), – and the second guy goes, “oh, that’s dumb (a dumb tattoo) -never heard of them.”
I wanted to chime in and be like dude, stfu, Coheed’s cool, so that tat’s cool, but I pussied out. In my defense, it was the 2nd guy’s ‘coming home from Iraq’ party, so you’re allowed to be a douche.
