Yes, that shiet is raw comin at your jaw. The hiphop musician/production duo of Leon Michels and Jeff Silverman aka Truth & Soul, are releasing a second compilation called Fallin’ Off the Reel Vol. 2.

I was introduced to these cats with their Amy Winehouse remix joint that is off the chain (above).

Then, I peeped their Wu-Tang remix live videos with The Chef, aka Raekwon.

Good -ish! Cop their new album on March 11th. There will be one Wu track on it: “PJ’s” with Raekwon…

Brooklyn-based record label Truth and Soul will release their Fallin’ Off the Reel Vol. 2 compilation CD on March 11th. The compilation features a combination of tracks from a variety of funk and soul artists that had previously been exclusively available as 7″ singles as well as new tracks from celebrated groups El Michels Affair and Bronx River Parkway. Truth and Soul’s involvement with releases from Amy Winehouse and members of Wu-Tang Clan, as well as their reputation for releasing high quality soul and funk music, makes the release of this compilation highly anticipated.

I am feeling the live instrumentals and the live band play (is that the same thing?).
