Terry Gilliam to go ahead with Ledger starrer

There were reports initially that director Terry Gilliam would abandon his latest film The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus starring the late actor Heath Ledger. But now it seems he will go ahead with the film.

Gilliam plans to use computer-generated images of Ledger, contactmusic.com reports. Ledger’s co-star Christopher Plummer had earlier remarked, “Fortunately, because the film deals with magic, there is a way perhaps of turning Ledger into other people and then, using stills and I think they call it CGI.”

Plummer also added that Gilliam plans to dedicate the film to Ledger, who died last week

Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway was born July 18, 1972 in Memphis, Tennessee. Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway got the name Anfernee because his mom couldn’t say Anthony and the doctor wrote down Anfernee when he asked Anfernee’s mother her baby’s name. His mother had to work long hours so he was raised by his grandmother until high school. He got the nickname “Penny” from his grandmother because she said that he looked like a penny when she looked down at him playing on the floor. His dad taught him about basketball as a child. As far as I know he doesn’t have any brothers or sisters.
